My week of work experience!
Hey! My name’s Amber Piearce and I’ve been at Direct Education doing my week of work expereince with Jacqui, the office manager. I go to the Rhyl 6th and am studying my A Levels and hope to become a teacher in the future. I decided to come to Direct Education to learn about different educational eviroments.
This is my 3rd day and so far I’ve done a mountain of work! I’ve done a number of print templates for the new editions of the company work books and then printed and bound them all. I’ve written emails to a variety of people regarding different topics. I’ve also had the chance to write an invoice which I franked and filed a copy into the system.
I was involved in an hour long video conference with Elize, an A Level Law tutor. I asked her some questions about teaching and how video conferencing is different to being in a classroom. I gained some useful tips and information and found the whole experience interesting.
I’ve also become a professional tea maker.
So far, my favourite bit about my work experience has been doing the video conference with Elize.
