Our A Level service
Direct Education provides a full A Level service. Your students receive all they need to complete their AS and A2 subject. There is no need for you to provide in-house subject support or even core textbooks - we take care of everything.
Our A Level students receive
- A one hour Video conferenced tutorial each week with a qualified and experienced teacher
- A full set of work packs which guide students through the course providing plenty of opportunity for active learning, reflection and skills practise.
- A supporting text book for each student (new schools only)
- E mail support from their dedicated tutor
- Regular assignments marked by their tutor with full progress feedback
You receive
- A full teacher service which includes report writing and other progress assessments
- UCAS statements, attendance (by video-conference) at parents evenings, mock examinations
- Flexible timetabling (twilight or lunchtime sessions if required)
- A dedicated customer services team on hand to help with any queries you might have
- Attendance at sixth form choices evenings either by VC link or in person should you require this
In addition to our standard service, we are more than happy to provide additional tutorials, revision conferences and any other support that you might require.
If you would like to offer an A Level subject that you don’t see here, just ask – we are often able to respond positively to such requests.
All of our A Level courses will have been updated to reflect the new 2008 specifications.
Costs
You will not find a more cost effective provider of distance learning A Levels using video conferenced tutorials in the UK.
Our annual fees from September 2008 are as follows and are exclusive of VAT
- For each group of one to five students - £2800
- For each additional student over five - £510
Some subjects are more popular than others. Should you find that very small or very large student numbers make our courses less cost effective, call us. We will quote separately for such groups and we will always endeavour to remain cost effective.
